I work on spaces of all shapes and sizes, from private gardens to commercial and public realm.

I offer both a full design service and consultancy visits.

A full design service includes a survey, planting plans, and scaled design proposals and I work with the client from idea through to completion, tendering for contractors and planting up the space.

A consultancy visit is for those who don’t want to commit to a full design service but want some ideas and inspiration for their space. This includes a site visit (depending on location) client meeting, and a design proposal document with suggested styles, planting ideas, and how to get started.

I love talking about growing, gardens and the power of nature and am available for talks and presentations. My particular areas of interest are agro-ecology and education. I have done talks and been part of panels for Capital Growth, the Oxford Real Farming Conference, the Peri Urban Farm Network, Groundswell, Charles Dowding’s Future Gardener’s Forum and more.

Having been through the travails of setting up and running growing sites in various challenging situations over the years, I am available for consultancy, coaching and advice for entrant growers and individuals and organisations wanting to introduce agroecological principles and food growing to their spaces. I have previously worked wtih DEFRA. the Landworkers Alliance, Barnet Council, Hackney Council, Hackney School of Food and more.
